Blogging: Driving Traffic To Your Posts

“There is no such thing as a traffic problem, only a strategy problem…” (Digital Marketer)

Lets face it, without traffic, your blog may as well be a personal diary.

But driving traffic (that is people who will eventually become your raving fans and paying customers) to your content is a pretty complex topic with a multitude of considerations, from choosing your platform through identifying your target audience to creating compelling sales copy and ad creative to name a few.

You’ve Got To Spend Money To Make Money

We’ve all heard this phrase before, and like for all businesses, it’s true for blogging. However the amount you’ll have to invest is far less than for any offline business. And courses are one of the two things we highly recommend you investing in. The second being paid advertising (more on that in the content below).

The world wide web is full of overpriced courses (it’s a jungle out there!) and finding real value for money is actually a lot harder that you might think. So we’ve listed our two favourite ones below, that have both been invaluable in helping Go Passive get off the ground. They are both not only super comprehensive but affordable too, payable monthly and can be cancelled without any additional charges at any time.

You can of course go ahead and use free content off the internet –  there’s plenty about, and some of it really useful. However you will save yourself a lot of TIME and MONEY by taking the help and advice of those who are succeeding in the industry on a daily basis.

ClickBank University

ClickBank is one of the affiliate platforms we recommended in our finding your products post, and they also have a kick ass course. The good thing is your success is in their interest, as they also earn commission after affiliate sales, and provide really structured to the point information and actionable points in their video series.

They have two courses, one for VENDORS (that is if you have your own product) and one for AFFILIATES (that is if you are looking to resell other people’s products).

Digital Marketer Lab

By signing up you’ll have access to a wide range of Execution Plans that take you through every aspect of running an online business, from using the most popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn etc., through setting up email funnels to helping you understand the customer value journey that needs to be taken for any “cold traffic” that lands on your blog to then be converted into “warm and hot traffic”, aka raving fans and paying customers.

The video below is a great introduction to their Email Marketing Machine, which is discussed in more detail inside.

We found the structure these two courses provide invaluable for the launch of Go Passive. Hope you do too! Good luck and happy blogging!
